Andrew Ian Dodge’s reaction to Washington Post’s ”cyber-punk” article

“It is outrageous that reporters from inside the Washington beltway are already trying to force everyday Mainers to accept their assessment of who is and is not a ‘serious’ candidate. Apparently, the Washington Post views a candidate’s choice of clothing as more damaging to a campaign than making demonstrably false and arguably slanderous public statements about one’s political opponents. Unlike the Post, this campaign does not believe the people of Maine are stuck in middle school. This Washington mentality that politicians can only look a certain way, talk a certain way or think a certain way has driven our country to the brink of financial ruin and left us more vulnerable to our enemies. If the Post thinks it’s weird or un-serious to oppose that, the Post needs to rethink its definitions.”
