No Labels-Maine, a group that believes hyper-partisanship is destroying our politics and paralyzing our ability to govern, has pledged “to make sure that Snowe, considered a moderate Republican, successfully wins the nomination over her two tea party challengers.”

Carnevale said No Labels will not be involved in a registration drive. However, he confirmed that the group backed Snowe’s candidacy.

“Any time a moderate candidate is under attack from the fringe on the left or the right, we’re going to do what we can to support that candidate,” Carnevale said.
