FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
SENATE CANDIDATE ANDREW IAN DODGE
ON QUIMBY'S NATIONAL PARK
Oct. 24, 2011
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
“The Obama administration and its environmentalist allies are turning a deaf ear to the
concerns of local residents about the new proposed national park in Northern Maine.
We must not allow the concerns of Mainers directly affected by this proposal to be
ignored and trivialized. We cannot afford Roxanne Quimby's Rural Quagmire.”
Dodge continues on the further implications.
“Maine is suffering from a dire lack of quality jobs, Northern Maine cannot bear another
effort to turn Maine jobs into low paid seasonal work. Maine needs all of its working
forests more than ever. A Maine national park would become more National pork. Its
time for all Mainers to stand with the people of Millinocket.”
